1995 – 2009
It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of our beloved Thaïs. (Multi Ch. Silkstone Opera Queen),
Thaïs was not only very close to the perfect standard of the Whippet but she was also the most sweet nature with a touch of English phlegmatism ….
Nothing in the world could disturb her.
The love and affection we shared over the years spent together never stopped growing; to us she was a truly cherished family member.
In her younger years Thaïs did some impressive wins in the European showrings. She only produced two litters but she managed to pass all her qualities on to her offspring.
Thanks to the success of her son and daughter Tibère and Tiffany, who were the first UK Champions bred in France, she was awarded the title
Top Brood Bitch 2007 in the United Kingdom.
Her grandchildren are succesfully following in her footsteps now, keeping the memory of Thaïs alive. Sleep gently, Sweetheart, thank you for all your love and companionship.

C’est avec une immense tristesse que nous vous informons du départ de notre Thaïs (Multi Ch.Silkstone Opera Queen) dans sa quatorzième année
Outre son standard qui approchait la perfection, Thaïs était d’une incroyable douceur avec un zeste de phlegme britannique que rien ne perturbait
Durant toutes ces années nous avons partagé beaucoup d’amour et de complicité et elle faisait partie intégrante de notre vie quotidienne
Elle brilla aussi sur les plus prestigieux podiums d’Europe et en 2007 s’offrit le luxe d’être élue Top Reproductrice au Royaume Uni grâce aux victoires là-bas de deux de ses magnifiques enfants, Tibère et Tiffany, les deux premiers français à terminer leur championnat anglais (Thaïs n’eut que deux portées dans sa vie)
Ses petits enfants ont déjà pris la relève sur les rings et il est certain que l’on se rappellera d’elle très longtemps
Repose en paix petite Chérie qui nous a tant aimés.
Tu nous manques terriblement et
nous ne t’oublierons jamais .
